Thankless work is even tougher than hard work. We've got an "appreciation meter" deep-set in our hearts and minds. And it's impossibly difficult to feel motivated for long when that meter is running at zero. But there's a secret way to hotwire the appreciation meter, and gain way more bandwidth in the process. Telling others you appreciate them! We work better together, and thankless work can be made into thankful work by... anyone, including us.
